Suggestion...next time she will not start...have someone at the rear of the vehicle to see if the stop lights are on when you are pushing on the brake pedal for the start function. Get back with results.

I have the same problem. All lights come on the dash, but nothing turns over. Key sensor light is green. Steering wheel is locked however, though the security system light disarms when I unlock the car. No brake lights come.

Lets verify ...Make...Model....Year....mileage. Any warning lights on or flashing when the engine was running?..

2012 Toyota Camry XLE, 106k miles, no warning lights... in fact hooked up an obd2 and no problems

Here’s what happened.... was in the Starbucks drive thru and put the car in park, when it was time to go car wouldn’t come out of park. Turned car off then car wouldn’t come back on. All dash lights come on but no crank. Battery is 1.5 months old. Also tow guy said not my battery. My key fob was weak so changed battery. Did not help. Tow guy thought it might be the theft system but the anti theft light turns off when I unlock the car. I did remove the Verizon Humx reader the night before, but otherwise no recent changes.

Ok...always do the easiest and cheapest thing first. If you have an extra Smart Key ...try using it for awhile. Next. When the vehicle will not start...or restart...block the brake pedal in the applied position with an already cut to the correct length piece of wood. You need to jam this piece of wood between the seat and the brake pedal so as to hold the brake pedal down firmly. Get out of the vehicle and see if the Brake Lights are ON. If the brake lights are NOT on...you might have a bad brake light switch. If the brake lights ARE ON....then go back into the vehicle.....leaving the wood in place....hold the Smart Key Fob right next to the push button and attempt a start.. Get back with results.
