Are the prices listed on the cargurus website the wholesale price or are they cost of the car out the door?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm wondering if the prices that you analyze as Good or Great reflect the total cost of the car or are they just the wholesale price. By wholesale I mean the dealer will then add on the destination charge, taxes, title, etc. Total cost out the door means there are no additional charges to add to the price.

You can negociate the price with the dealer if you do your homework and find other dealers with a cheaper price or you can just make him an offer. The dealer will still add his charges for paper work which to me is unreasonable, any where form $300 to I.ve heard some charge .up to $900.This is one reason to deal with a for sell by owner and sell your car and have cash instead of a trade in! I have never traded a car in on a newer model and got a good deal.
