2004 Dodge Stratus Overheating

Asked by migration_Cheela Sep 13, 2015 at 01:11 PM about the 2004 Dodge Stratus SXT Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 dodge stratus. Today I was
driving home and the thermostat light came
on. Alot of times when I turn off the car
when I've been driving a while, there seems
to be a bubbling sound from under the
hood. I have coolant in the reserve tank.
What could it be?

Could also be fan issue. But change the thermostat.. Just saying...

Check the radiator cap for cracks. After spending money on a thermostat, my car still ran hot until I got one for about 7 bucks
