Tribeca audio problem

Asked by stemwinder Oct 02, 2018 at 01:48 PM about the 2008 Subaru Tribeca Limited 7-Passenger with Navi and DVD

Question type: General

Hi just came back from a 3 week trip and my battery was flat. Recharged the
battery but now my radio and cd won't work. I just get a message on my
screen telling me to call OnStar but as far as I know I don't have OnStar.
Any help please.
thanks
Richard

I would check the fuses. OnStar is a GM service. Subaru has Starlink.

It is possible that you need to re enter the security code for the radio.

I have the same message on my 09 tribeca. It was everything ok before a “motor wash” that was done today. Now the sound and A/C are not working (digital A/C indicators are all off too). I already looked at the fuses and they are ok...... Did you managed to solve your problem @steameinder ???
