Car wont stay running

The car will start up and idle for about 5 seconds then
rpms drop and picks back up and 3 seconds later it will die
again. It will start right back up and do same thing.drove
to the store and this just started happening

Check your IACV it maybe faulty or needs to be cleaned.
There is a $7 fix and a $52 fix. Cleaning the Air Control Unit (acu) is the easiest. Get the cleaner from your local parts store. Remove the acu whith care not to touch the unit with your hanss or rub any of the super fine elements. Spay the unit several times to remove the dirt. Do not hook up the wires back until.the unit is.completely dry (about 10 to 15) minutes. Hook up the wires again then start your Honda.. you do not need to calibrate anything. It should start without fluxuating rpms. NOTE: make sure your air intake is clean before placing it back together. It tends to pick up debris and oil from a dirty air filter.
