I have a 2004 honda accord and just replaced the thermostat. The car ran hot and after replacing the thermostat and refilling wiht coolant it's still blowing cold air. what could it be?

tennisshoes....we always pulled out the dikes and snipped that "jiggle pin" off altogether....crikey, you've got to have SOME flow to the engine and heatercore~ why this little devil is there remains to be seen...can you explain it?~

Doesn't coolant have "anti-froth" agents added, like Firemen use this on the engine pumpers so that it quickly dissipates the grass fires....would STOP an air-bound condition....I've seen this once on a Chrysler where regardless of how fast we ran the motor or how hot the engine was...it remained AIR BOUND~~~~this very well may be the problem here~ perhaps an anerobic coolant additive exists....will have to research this~

well it ran hot first; then I took it and they replaced the thermostat and refilled the coolant. Nothing is leaking but your recommending that I flush the line to remove any air bubbles?
