How to determine trim level on 2012 Nissan Versa

Asked by dbr1964 Nov 14, 2016 at 05:33 PM about the 2012 Nissan Versa 1.6 S

Question type: General

I moved to a new province and have to transfer my registration and insurance.
My previous registration and insurance just state that I have a 2012 Nissan
Versa. However, they want to know the trim level. How can I find out the trim
level and whether it is a 1.6 or 1.8?

You can find that information with your VIN number. http://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/autocheck/en/vinbasics

There's only 3 models: S, SV, SL S - basic model (no chrome door handles, no chrome around the front grill, and has the basic gauges - which doesn't even show the water temperature) SV - mid model (has chrome door handles, chromo in front grill, with regular gauges with temperature and gasoline meter in the middle) SL - fully loaded model (same as SV model and includes controls in steering wheel, may include a back-up camera, and may include navigation)
