how do u make a neon dual cam from a single cam with use the same block and computer

Don't think it can be done not on an 05, just get a 2.4L Longe block or the 2.4L turbo, or get the magnum 2.0L in the R/T

is this on a 1gn or a 2gn neon, its doable on either one but there are different things you need to be aware of depending on which generation you are doing the swap on.

a 1gn neon is pretty easy to swap to dohc. you will need: complete DOHC head (cams, cam gears, vc, cam sensor), spark plug wires, timing covers, timing belt, idler pulley, exhaust manifold, Intake manifold.

a 2gn is a little more difficult, in addition to what was listed above you will also need: either an srt-4 intake manifold, or a custom intake so that you can mount the stock throttle body to the intake manifold using the bellows tube., 97+ dohc injectors and fuel rail

ok thank you i was told my year dome pistions in it they said have to change them idk if that is true or not

your engine has flat top pistons, and they will work just fine with a DOHC head
