Selling a car

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I bought a 2002 Jetta 1.8l turbo.  But haven't been
able to put it under my name since it doesn't pass
the smog test, and I have already spend twice what
the car costed me, I wanna sell it but idk if I can
since pink slip it's not in my name. Need help

Until you have title you can't sell it. Maybe a junk yard would buy it?
