My sisters car is a dodge stratus 2006 won't start

My sister gave me her car because when
she was driving the car just turned off  and
won't start someone told her she burned the
motor so she gave it to me and my friend
said there is nothing wrong with the car it
just needs oil we put oil and checked
everything and everything is good but won't
start?  And someone tried to start the car
Whit a dinffernt key do you think it my be the
anti scerity is making it not start? Help
please
