How do I drain coolant?

Asked by John Oct 26, 2020 at 03:37 PM about the 2010 Audi A3 2.0T Premium Plus Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a 2010 Audi A3 Sportback with a turbocharged gasoline
engine. I am attempting to change the coolant but when I have disconnected
what I assume to be either of the large rubber hoses coming from the bottom
of the radiator, no coolant drains out. Please, any help would be greatly
appreciated.

did you remove the coolant reservoir cap and drain the coolant from the reservoir first? Air needs to force the coolant out.
