Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 04 ford escape every time the lights are on they
flicker then the battery light flickers. Today I was driving
and my car wouldn't increase in acceleration so I turned
over and park and turned the car off and then it wouldn't
start so I jumped it and it started and I checked the battery
and alternator and both are good what is my issue

Who check the battery and alternator? Flickering means you have a charging issue. Have an auto part store load test the battery and alternator. If you jump started the car and it started, your battery is weak. I suspect the alternator is the issue or the wiring.
