catalytic converter light on

I have been having problems lately with my VW.  Lights keep going on randomly.  
Catalytic converter light went on yesterday but I live in east BF South Carolina and
nothing is open until monday. Can I drive the car or what>????

it will probly run a bit rich and noisy but sure you could jsut don't take it for like a super long drive short trips would be fine id imadgine but have it looked at soon as you can.
