2012 Kia Sorento engine recall

2012 Kia engine failed at 89k after it had
passed the recall test.  Dealer replace the
engine it's took six weeks and I was given a
car rental for free. My question is I was under
the impression I was getting a brand new
engine but instead received remanufactured
one and they replaced the long block? Is that
what everyone had done not new but
remanufacrured and warranty now extended?

how did you go about getting this taken care of I do not even no where to start. My son's engine seized up while he was driving. He has no other form of transportation making life very difficult. Can you help

My 2012 Kia Sorento the doors will not lock I have to lock them manually but I can unlock the doors with the remote what do you think is wrong
