my break lights came on suddenly amnd the car is not on nor the headlights

mY CAR WAS TURNED OFF AND i WAS TOLD BY THE PARKING
ATTENDANT TWO HOURS LATER THAT MY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ON. I
started the car and ensured everything was turned off but the lights were still
on. HELP!

Misadjusted or shorted brake light switch. Brake lights are one of the circuits that are live all the time so they don’t shut down when the key is turned off.

Sounds like a bad brake light switch. Try stepping on the brake pedal several times. If that doesn't work pull the brake pedal forward with your hands. This will only be a temporary fix until you can replace the brake light switch. Hope that helps! Jim
