Good Mornings...I got a Golf 6 GTI and my oil light keeps comming on in the mornings,after the engine is warmed up the i switch it off and on again then the light is gone...please help me out

how warm is it there ? if its bellow freezing it might have ice in the pan blocking hte pump other wise have the oil filter checked these cars some times suck the filter in and cause the oil light to come on. Fixing is replacement.

Hi Gentz...its really hot this side of Mpumalanga...it only occurs in the mornings and when I check the oil at garage everything is ok...I'll have the checked Friday by mechanic ...Thanx

yea its really stupid but there is like a oil sensor built into the filter housing so when the car has some sort of blockage or the pump is not working correctly the filter sucks in and causes the sensor to miss read. I would try simply replacing the filter and oil if its close to a change first before looking at a oil pump tho.
