Why is my steering wheel making a clicking noise when I drive my car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had this problem since buying her from the dealership. They said it was
power steering, but other vehicles I've been in that also have power steering do
not make this noise. What could it be, and how serious? Thanks!

My first suspect would be the clock spring for the airbag system. It moves with the steering wheel and sits right behind the steering wheel. Hope that helps! Jim
