"1996 Chrysler Concorde #14... 5 amp fuse burns
out every time it is replaced on cruise message center. hvac fan blower not
working but a/c compressor works also speedometer, tachometer, fuel & temp. gauge,
air bag light all stopped working. Tried new ignition switch no change still blows fuse

Found shorted circuit board in the message center mounted above the windshield rear view mirror. This assembly is part of the map lights & sunglasses holder. Chrysler dealer informed me the part is no longer available (discontinued). Found good used one at auto salvage. If unable to locate part just unplug message center circuit board. This will remove the short circuit & fuse will no longer burn out.
