I have an AWD Traverse. The owner's manual says it can tow 2000 lbs. The dealer says it can tow 5000 lbs. What's the answer?

Hi Geompo, After researching your question, I found information on pg. 9-49 of your vehicle's Owner's Manual that states if you have the All‐Wheel Drive, V92 Trailer Towing Package your vehicle is able tow 5,200 lbs (2 359 kg) but if not your Traverse can only tow 2,000 lbs (907 kg). You can also check with your dealer's Service Manager to provide this information. Vanessa GM Customer Service
