Intermittent Starting

Asked by GuruC2BY5 Mar 05, 2019 at 12:01 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 2012 Traverse with109k miles. New
battery and new spark plugs. Has had
intermittent Starting issues for about 9
months. Remote will not start vehicle.
Randomly the vehicle will not start on first
attempt but always start on 2nd and 3rd try.
Mechanic says can not diagnose until car
stops starting all together. Any ideas?

Is check engine on? I would take it to an auto zone, O'Reillys to check for any codes.
