Scan for codes even if the light ain't on , test for proper fuel pressure some cars are particular just having it won't do , test for spark and injector pulse .
Spray some quick start in the throttle body, if it strats, they u know it's fuel related
My 2012 ford fusion cut off at a red light and want start back. Fuel pump sounds like its priming.
