what do you think about a 2002 toyota salara with 211,000 miles for$ 3700 its in great condition..would it be stupid with such high mileage

Have it checked out thoroughly. If you can afford to throw away $3,700 then take the gamble if it checks out good. Just be aware that you may end up with very expensive repairs soon.

Toyotas are generally good vehicles. However with that kind of mileage it's days are probably numbered! If it's in very good condition I would pay around $1500 for it. Maybe a little more if I was familiar with the vehicle. Like if a friend or relative was selling it. HTH. -Jim
