Is this the clutch training or maybe something else

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Toyota solara SE V6 5 speed
coupe. I noticed a while back that it was making
a humming noise in second gear then it was
hard to put into gear 3rd and 4th and 5th and
then it started popping out of third gear I
wouldn't stay in third gear then the other day I
went to leave and without the car in gear started
it up and it was making a rattling noise so I put
it in first and took off in the noise persisted I got
about a mile away from the house and the car
just binded up like it was jumping and locking
down like I was hitting the brakes real hard now
it's making a grinding noise from the driver side
under the hood I can get it to go forward but it
acts like it's binding up and then it'll let go and
then it'll bind up and it'll let go reverse works fine
can anybody help help me out with this problem

Sounds like the transmission went bad. Humming is usually caused by low gear lube in the transmission causing the bearings to run dry ruining the transmission. Time to get a shop involved for repairs.
