Car dies when clutch is pushed in?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I just bought this car it ran for a week just fine. I
was driving down the road and pushed the clutch
in and the car died. My alternator is running at 14
volts and when the car died I went and bought a
new battery and put it in and it started and idled
fine. I drove it home and when I got to my house
the car died and I had to start it seven times to get
into my parking spot. I went out today and got
mass air flow sensor cleaner and clean the MAF.
the car started right up and idle's perfect but as
soon as I push the clutch and it dies what could
be the issue?

Also. Just started happening. When I push in the clutch sometimes it runs sometimes it stalls... I believe my clutch bearing is going because it sounds like a pulley wheel sqweeking. Do you think that this could be a reason why my car stalls out?

Billy, did you ever find the answer? My son purchased a car and now it steals and stalls when pressing the clutch in.
