Blinking Battery Light

Asked by Slopester May 30, 2018 at 02:11 PM about the 2011 Kia Optima SX Turbo

Question type: General

I recently replaced the alternator in my 2011 Kia Optima, due to having a steady
battery light illuminated.   The alternator was confirmed bad at parts store.   All
good for just over a week, now the battery light is suddenly blinking, what does
that mean?

Battery light is flashing. Battery is good. When I start the car and unhook the battery it doesn't die. What could it be

Unless you used a Kia alternator aftermarket shit don’t work right on them as I’ve learned the hard way
