Cooling issue

Asked by GuruTYMNF Jun 17, 2018 at 04:43 AM about the 2011 RAM 1500 SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2011 ram 4.7 137k. While sitting idle temps will
reach 220+. Coolent levels perfect and clean,
clutch fan looks to be moving slow tho. Not sure
weather or not to start with the thermostat, water
pulp or replace clutch fan. Thanks for any input.

I'd say the clutch fan , at an idle with the temp climbing that thing should be whipping around ,
