2011 ram 1500 cranks but does not start

Asked by GuruNS1XB Oct 30, 2019 at 07:10 PM about the 2011 RAM 1500 Laramie Crew Cab

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The engine cranks but does not start. For the
past week it has been hard to start it cranks
awhile but then starts like it lost its prime to
the fuel rail was wondering if there was some
check valve that might be leaking or if it’s the
fuel pump

Try starter fluid in the throttle body and see how quickly it cranks up. Sounds like a week fuel pump
