where is my 2000 chevy concorde thermostat

I have a 2000 Concorde with the 2.7 liter engine. The thermostat is located under the left side exhaust manifold on the front of the engine. I pride myself on doing my own mechanic work, but in this case I took it to an $80/hour mechanic to replace the housing because it was leaking.
