Im wondering how much hp a 2006 4.7 v8 jeep can
take till you actually start having real problems
with the engine

Not sure about your question. Are you asking how much the engine can be upgraded with performance mods or how hard you can push it?
The more power the engine puts out and the more you use that power the shorter the engine life even when built properly. The average back yard hot rod may not last long at all.
