How to reset immobilizer on vw after changing the ignition lock housing

I changed the ignition lock housing and battery
but it keeps giving me the key immobilizer flashing
on dash symbol

The new parts need to be programmed to the vehicle by your local Volkswagen Dealer. Hope that helps! Jim
