Question type: Car Customization

Where around the Austin,  Texas area can I
get my 2003 Volkswagen Pass at 2.8 30
valve performance tuned and about how
much?  Also can it be tuned for specifically
more Torque instead of more horse then
Torque?  I don't care at all about the gas
mileage not at all?

I am guessing you are planing to use this car for towing something .. these cars are fun but they are simply not built for towing stuff. you can get a max of 2000 pounds towing power with this car at full on best with reinforced shocks you can get 3000 but at that point you begin risking damage to the rear control arms of the car and the rear drive train and trany. if you want towing power buy a truck or an suv they are plentiful and cheap in texas. other wise this car for tuning you can do upgraded pistons and rings better cams and valves and not a terrible lot more then that. since its a v6 if you want to put on a turbo it will take alot of ... manuvering to add them and you would require 2 of them so a cold air filter would be a place to go on that way of thinking and a upgraded intake system and injectors, mixed with some NGK platinum plugs. Not sure if they make upgraded sway bars for this car but a thicker bar upgraded shocks and some performance coilovers and control arms would go a long way. and for a little more you can put in a good exaust like a magflow system.
