Gas indicator

I have a 2007 Mercedes E350 4matic and the gas
indicator light does not show where I am with gas. Also,
my car is hesitating when I'm driving. What could be the
problem

sounds like a job for the diagnostics at your local shop, my advice to you is to take your automobile to your local shop and a qualified technician should be able to diagnose the malfunctioning gas indicator
