Step 1 Sit the Sebring's driver's side seat. Pull up the car's emergency brake lever for safety. Step 2 Find the "Top Up" button to the left of the steering wheel. This is the same button used to raise the top when it's operating correctly. Step 3 Tap the "Top Up" button five times within two seconds. The procedure must be done quickly to work. Step 4 Wait approximately 30 seconds. The top will begin to raise itself using the emergency bypass system. If you notice that the top is being damaged as it is raised, quickly push the "Top Down" button to cancel the operation. Contact your Chrysler dealer immediately for assistance. Do not drive the Sebring faster than 40 miles per hour. This will damage the top if it has been raise using the emergency bypass feature, according to the owner's manual.

I guess,"thank you" for the effort, unless this was some sort of crule joke ..... the emergency bypass system was a no go. Tried it several times, several different ways. I couldn't find anything about it in my owners manual. Also, the link went to "error 404". If this was just a mistake, then thank you for you time. If you did it on purpose, then you are one sick puppy !!

This is the procedure Chrysler gives. If the top motor or hydraulics are bad this procedure obviously won't work.
