2008 Chrysler sebring convertible trunk won't close.
Pressing the button doesn't seem to initiate or work. Did a
Reset by unplugging the battery to no avail. Now, checking
fuses. Any suggestions?

That operation uses sensors and, if any don't work properly, the whole thing doesn't work. Get your sensors checked, you might even have an OBD trouble code stored in the computer about this. You're gonna need a mechanic..... Having had a Ferrari California that has the retractable hardtop, I've found that regular service of this system can prevent this malfunction from happening.
