Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drive a 2012 Honda Civic. One day I was
driving and tried to turn my volume up with
my volume knob that's on the dash. I can
still turn it up with the volume controls on
my steering wheel, but not the knob. The
knob also let's me connect my iPhone to
Bluetooth and since the volume knob is
also the select button i'm now unable to
connect my new iPhone. It's driving me
crazy. Also, my miles until empty have
somehow vanish from my home screen
and it now reads average miles. Please let
me know if you know how to get my miles
until empty back! Thanks.

Did you ever figure out what the deal was with the knob?!! I'm having the same exact problem and have been searching the net for answers and have literally found NOTHING. wtf?! This can't be that uncommon of an issue...can it? Either way,if you did find an answer I would be so appreciative if you could pls share it! Help a sister out! Just like you described, the center selector button that you push in order to select things(duh!) works perfectly fine,it's just the outside part that you rotate to either scroll through menu items or increase/decrease volume that's refusing to do it's job. I hope I don't have to fire it and find a replacement.. or is that the only solution? I wouldn't even know how to go about doing that! Ughhhh....pls help. Pls
