How much extra oil did you add? How far past the Full line did you go? It could be the extra oil raised the level in the oil pan to the point that the crankshaft is sitting in it. As it spins, it whips the oil and adds bubbles. The bubbly oil doesn't cool or lubricate as well when it moves through the rest of the engine. You will need to drain some of the oil so that it is at the correct level. It should be between the Full and Low line on the oil dipstick.
