Anyone have suggestions for my overheating BMW?

Asked by Jman707x Sep 22, 2020 at 03:55 PM about the 2002 BMW 3 Series 325xi Wagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 BMW 325xi cracked the coolant reservoir
so I replaced that along with the thermostat and
water pump, purged the system real nice, even did
a combustion test on it to ensure I didn’t have a
warped or cracked head. After a 5 mile test drive
and about 20 mins at idle it starts to overheat
again, my fan is working and turning the proper
direction and I’m not losing any coolant. Any
suggestions on how to fix this problem? This car
has 244k miles on her.
