relay switch fine too, I took to a garage, thinking I needed a motor. The motor was changed, but still didn't work. Turns out it was the wiring. In the bay with door open, key in ON position, of course, dome, running lights on, for 2 hrs+. Later on way home, my car chugged almost died, I revved the motor, and seemed ok as I made it home with a few more revves. I left my car running for about 1/2 hour, when I went out, the car had shut off, Now the battery was dead. Worse still now my alternator was also dead too. I admit I do a lot of short runs, but the battery was not a cheap one, purchased Jan of 19. So next question, was the alternator toast first, or the extended time of door etc open the problem. A neighbor said if battery is dead, it would kill the alternator when running. Help, do I complain about the battery installed, or the mechanic leaving key on, lights on for 2 plus hours? I thought mechanics check for the problem, but nope not this time. Wiper motor & wiring, labour & tax bill $326.54 Tow truck, alternator, trickle charge etc $644.04 Needless to say I am not a happy camper, sucks to be a woman some times! (Two different garages!) Thanks for any answers!
