What's leaking

So I was coming to a stop at a red light from 1/2 a
mile away and since no other car was in front of
me i was slowing down at a reasonable speed.
However, a car suddenly came out of nowhere, cut
me off and stopped right in front of me and so I
had to break really hard.
Once I got home I noticed that my shoes were wet.
The weather is super sunny and dry and I definitely
didnt step on water or anywhere that my shoes
would get wet. So i looked down and noticed that
water was leaking from somewhere near the
accelerator/brake pedal .. the carpet of the drivers
seat was wet. Now I had my AC on when I was
driving..

So i am wondering where the water came from?
Does it have something to do with the AC being on
or does it habe something to do with pressing the
brakes really hard?  If its something to do with
brakes then what should I do?

If that was brake fluid your pedal would have sunk to the floor and you would have no brakes. It might be coolant if you loosened or damaged the heater core (but that's unlikely). It's more likely just water, which collects as condensate from the AC evap coil in the HVAC box (next to the heater core). A tube runs from the HVAC box to the ground along the fire wall to drain any collected condensate. Hitting the brakes hard might have sloshed that water out and onto your floor. (A common complaint when the condensate drain plugs up is water dripping onto the interior floor area.)
