How much oil should I consume between oil changes

Ideally none, but all cars are different and if it consumes oil it doesn't mean it's a bad engine. If you're putting in 1/2 - 1 quart every 3kmi, don't worry. But top it off when it does need it!

It only has 50,000 on it. I was told by a dealer. That it was not uncommon for this model to consume that much oil. I would think burning that much would show up on the State inspection. I really find that hard to beleive it uses that much oil... Oh by the way ... ther are no leaks
