is there a throttle reset button for 2011 toyota corolla

my battery was dead tried to jump it with bad cables they started smoking and the jumped it with a better cable and now my throttle does not work and my check engine light is on.

Sounds like your ( TPS ) Throttle Position Switch needs to be replaced or adjusted.

Come on FordNut no need for that kind of language. Just did not feel like writing all of that information down. Sorry if I offended you.

Look in your owners manual Page 364 for the map of the underhood Power distribution center. Page 396 shows fuse for Electronic Throttle is cavity 17. Copied and pasted from there: "17 ETCS 10 A Electronic throttle control system". If you don't have manual go to link I will put in separate window to make it easy to hyperlink
