Changed air filter on 2005 Chrysler Pacifica and now I have high rpms before it shifts gears

Asked by Randy Jul 27, 2018 at 06:52 PM about the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Never had shifting issues prior to changing air
filter, and now since I did, my car doesn't want to
shift until around 3000rpms. I checked all
connections and everything is hooked up fine.. I
even checked the mass air flow sensor on the
inside, and it was bent,  but not broken, I bent it
back, and cleaned it off, does it need to be in a
certain position?? Help please!

You must of bent the mafs when you changed the filter if you mess with those they get ruined.you might have to replace it.
