A clicking sound comeing frome my infotainment

Evary time I start my truck a clicking sound is heard from my infotainment
counsel. My wife thinks it has to do with the air conditioning but I do not. Its
been doing it for about a yeat now but finally it has anoyed us. My nextdoor
naighbor is a machanic but don't know either what is the source of the problem.
Has any one had any trouble like this withe thire 2011 F-150 XLT.

A constant ticking noise through the radio could be RF interference, (radio frequency). It can be cause by any electrical motor operating in the vehicle. Eliminate the fuel pump. Turn on the radio then turn the ignition to the run position. The fuel pump will run for a few seconds then turn itself off. If the tick begins then ends after a few seconds, then suspect the fuel pump. If it is a RF interference problem, you will have to trace the problem. Turn off all electrical components when the vehicle is in the run position. If there is no tick, then turn them on one by one and see if it comes back thereby narrowing down the problem.
