2011 Jeep Liberty Codes won't clear after repair has been completed

Asked by Aireale Jan 11, 2023 at 06:06 PM about the 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello all,

We have completed all the repairs my 2011 Jeep Liberty illuminated when it
first went down. However it decided to light up with all the same codes again.
(i.e. cam shaft error, crank shaft, misfire in cylinder, ) even after all brand
new parts were purchased and the repairs were completed. We cleared the
codes after the repairs were done and then after 100 miles of driving they all
came back. We tried a hard reset and they are still stored. Any ideas? I have
to smog my vehicle in July (thanks California) and would like this fixed asap.

Did you use factory replacement parts or aftermarket? Always use factory replacement parts. I learned this the hard way on my old Jeep.
