any way to make the navigation system allows input while car is in motion?

I don't have any experience w/ the Nissan Armada nav system, but unfortunately, not very many nav system will allow input while the transmisson is out of Park. Even if the car has seatbelt sensors and airbag sensors in the passanger seat (and they can detect that a seatbelt is on and there is weight in the seat that is comparable to a person), most cars will not allow an adjustment in nav. Just a safety issue I guess, but it's a headache when you do have a passanger in the car that can't help you on the move.
