fan runs all the time and kills battery

I can not shut off the fan. Even with the car off, fan runs til battery dies. I pulled
the connection near the firewall and it stopped....How to repair ?  thanks in
advance

You most likely have a faulty coolant temp sensor or fan control module. There are certain ways to test. Best to get an OBD-2 scanner and see if it can pin-point what part is bad first. See what stored codes it has.
