Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2011 GMC Terrain.  There
was gas in oil. Have changed aIr
filters, cleaned mass air flow
sensor,AC spark plugs, & oil used
Mobil one annual/20,000 mile oil and
a quart of Lucas high mileage oil. Ran
3 containers of royal purple gas
treatment through engine. Have
gotten suggestions of timing chain
issues with this vehicle . Still getting
P0017 & P0018 OBD reading. Gas is
Not prevalent but still some in oil. Ran
a few tanks of premium shell gas and
one take of chevron med-range gas.
Seems to run best on med-range .
Average gas mileage is 25/gallon.
Vehicle has 190,000 miles on
odometer.
Vehicle run okay but the OBD reading
and a little gas in oil does concern
me.

Any advice or suggestions?

I suspect a leaking fuel injector. Fix that first. A stretched timing chain could cause those codes. Gas in the oil accelerates engine wear and the timing chain has a lot of miles on it so I think you are right to suspect it.
