Odd that a speed governor would stop a Caddy from going past 90 mph though....Hmm?? What WAS GM thinking?

Maybe the "garden variety" local cop cars are limited to 124 mph, but do you really think those cops/troopers with the special "police interceptor" cars like Dodge Chargers, Mustangs, Camaros, etc have speed limiters? Guessing that they need to be able to catch the occasional speed demons in Vettes, Ferraris and other insanely fast cars.

@tennisshoes...I sure as heck would check into it, if I could confirm that my car was limited to 90 mph...No wait...I take that back, once a Dealer TOLD me that the car I was considering can't go faster than that, I'd fall OUT of love with that car and look at something else...LOL!
