Outrageous condensation in muy 2011 SRX?

Asked by Guru998R1Y Oct 14, 2020 at 09:43 PM about the 2011 Cadillac SRX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My windshield is soaked on the
inside every morning. No rain.
The sunroof is even soaked on
the inside. The doors and seats
are not wet. Now the floorboard
front and back both sides are
staying wet. I don't mean damp, I
mean it looks like it's been
dragged out of a river. I'm not
even going to mention my hatch
is not working and I can hear
water sloshing around back there.
Where is all this water coming
from?

The wetness probably came first, the moisture condensing is coming from inside the car if you have the windows rolled up. You need to thoroughly dry out the interior of the car and make sure there are no leaks letting in rain water.

How does the sunroof drain fit into the moisture on the windshield and door glass?
