I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7L. Filled it up with gas, drove
approximately 30 miles and now it cranks but won't start. When I turn the
ignition on the fuel gauge does not move off of empty and the low gas level light
is on

check for a good ground/power at the fuel pump disconnect , seems a fuel pump should last longer but who knows it may be a bad sending unit which I believe is on the pump .
Pretty sure fuel pump is pumping. (not with truck right now to verify currently) Would this affect the gas gauge and low gas light?
